The CMD works in collaboration with the other associations of the wood sector, with the aim of positioning the sector as the great ally to move towards a sustainable future.

It is intended to value the timber sector in Galicia and the Galician countryside, for this it is necessary to defend the activities and quality services that help establish population to keep a rural area alive and active.

It is necessary to have a productive and sustainable rural area as a guarantee of respect for the environment in order to maintain a Natural Heritage that is a source of pride for Galicians.

With awareness campaigns with the objective of the circular bioeconomy is to design products that can be repaired, remodeled, recycled and reused, reducing the use of raw materials and the generation of waste.

The bioeconomy proposes developing a new generation of bio-based products and services, more biodegradable, with a lower carbon footprint and better adapted to the flows of the circular economy. The circular bioeconomy is, therefore, a new economic paradigm capable of reconciling economic development with environmental protection.
