MADE PLAN 2020-2023

The MADE 2020-2023 Strategic Plan was developed as a Plan for all the companies in the Cluster, based on their needs and counting on their opinion and active participation; It is an innovative, creative and, above all, agile plan, to be able to adapt to current times.

For its preparation, a qualitative research methodology was used in a first phase, through the development of focus groups, which allowed us to understand the needs of the companies in the chain that are part of the Cluster da Madeira eo Deseño de Galicia.

After the analysis of this information, together with the documentation of the analysis of the context and the current market, a Design Thinking workshop was held, with the aim of defining the activities to be developed in this Strategic Plan. Again, in this phase there was the active participation of the companies, since they are the first interested parties and the ones that must indicate the definition of the actions interested in participating.

Design Thinking is an agile people-centered innovation methodology that can be applied to any field and aims to design or redesign products, processes or services efficiently and always with the user at the center.

Project Portfolio

In the course of preparing the MADE 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, both the specific critical factors by subsector and the common critical factors at the sector level were identified for the competitive improvement of companies in the sector. Based on these factors, 11 strategic programs were selected, with 50 types of activities and 211 actions.

INNOTEC PLAN 2016-2019

The current economic scenario, more hopeful, has made it essential to draw up a new Strategic Plan for the 2016-2019 horizon, in which the results to be obtained in this period of time are defined, as well as the main courses of action to reach them, thanks to the elaboration of projects, action plans and monitoring models (strategy management model). This new Strategic Plan has been developed in collaboration with the Afundación Business School.

These management mechanisms (Strategic Plan + Strategy Management Model) will provide the CMD with the necessary elements to successfully execute its strategy and obtain the best results, both in product and in process, transforming the wood sector Galician in a more competitive, innovative industry and with the necessary skills to anticipate and face business challenges in the medium and long term.

In the course of preparing the CMD Strategic Plan, Innotec 2016-2019, both the specific critical factors by subsectors and the common critical factors at the sectoral level have been identified for the competitive improvement of companies in the sector. Based on these factors, the projects to be executed in the 2016-2019 period have been selected, distinguishing initiatives by business areas and sector initiatives.

AVANT PLAN 2012-2015

The Cluster da Madeira de Galicia launches the AVANT 2012-2015 Strategic Plan that sets out the actions to be carried out over the next four years. The main lines of action included in this Plan are focused on internationalization and the promotion of collaborative projects between the companies associated with the CMA. In this way, a special effort will be made to launch specific initiatives to help companies to leave abroad as well as to seek new marketing formulas to try to reach the market from manufacturing.

The AVANT 2012-2015 Strategic Plan has been designed taking into account the scenario faced by companies in the Galician wood industry, so the commercial function plays a prominent role.
